Precision Grinding for Reliable Mineral Testing
MPE’s Vibratory Grinding Disc Mills are engineered for efficient fine grinding of a wide range of minerals, including iron ore, cement clinker, metal alloys, coal, coke, quartzite, and more.
Grinding is achieved through a combination of impact and friction, reducing feed sizes of 10–12 mm down to products as fine as 300 mesh (depending on sample grindability).
The mill comprises a manganese steel bowl, cover, ring, and a central puck. A 100 g sample is placed between the ring and puck, enclosed with the cover, and securely clamped to the vibratory disc. The vibratory motion transfers kinetic energy to the ring and puck, ensuring rapid and uniform grinding.
Operation is simple and precise. The built-in control panel allows grinding times to be set between 1 and 60 minutes. Once the cycle is complete, the lid is unclamped, and the finely ground sample is ready for collection.
Compact and sturdy, the unit can be floor-mounted, requiring a footprint of only 610 mm x 610 mm with an overall height of 1050 mm. Each unit is supplied with grinding bowls and a control panel.
