MPE Roll Crushers are designed for continuous operation in both laboratory and production settings. The rolls are made from abrasion-resistant manganese steel and are constructed as replaceable units. Roll faces are ground smooth and trued to ensure efficient and uniform grinding. For specialized applications, rolls with grooves can also be supplied.
The bearing blocks are cast iron with anti-friction, dust-proof bearings, designed to withstand shock loads. Shafts are fitted securely into the rolls, and the movable roll is held in position by dual helical springs, which are externally adjustable via lock nuts.
The discharge gap is uniformly adjustable using a single-point chain-and-sprocket drive connected to heavy-duty screws on the movable bearing blocks. Each roll is powered by an individual 415V AC TEFC motor. The unit is self-contained, mounted on a steel base frame, and can be equipped with dust enclosures for the feed and discharge hoppers.
Customs built designs are also available.
