Jaw Crushers

MPE’s Single Toggle Jaw Crushers are overhead eccentric type machines designed for reliable, continuous crushing of ores and minerals. Incorporating modern design principles and high-quality materials, these crushers offer rugged construction, low operating costs, and long-lasting performance.

The crushers feature anti-friction bearings, allowing 24x7 operation without lubrication issues. The wearing jaws, made from 12-14% austenitic manganese steel, provide extended life and improved crushing efficiency.

The crusher body is fabricated from mild steel, with larger models having stress-relieved steel bodies. The eccentric shaft is precision-machined from alloy steel, and flywheels mounted on the shaft ensure smooth crushing and reduce power pull-down. The jaw stock is either high-grade cast iron or reinforced fabricated steel for larger crushers. Jaw plates are reversible, available in plain or corrugated designs, and cheek plates are extra heavy and bolted for durability.

A safety toggle plate protects the crusher from uncrushable materials while enhancing capacity and discharge action. The tension between the movable jaw, toggle, and wedge block is maintained with an adjustable spring-loaded tension rod, with further adjustment possible via toggles of different lengths.
